 | My name is Jackie Stickney, and I am an illustrator and sequential artist.
(Sequential Art, by the way, is things like comics and storyboards and pictures that tell a story rather than relying on words) I am a student based out of the Tampa Bay area in Florida, and currently study at a rural college. Although I can work in alsmost any medium (please don't ask me to knit...) I specialize in digital art, traditional charcoal, graphite, watercolor and inks, clay modelling and jewelry design.
Besides visual arts, I also write. I keep personal journals on poetry, observation journals, and ideas for future content. At 18, I wrote a full manuscript for a novel, which I continue to work on today. I also study the american and japanese television industry and its role in animation. I love to watch movies and tear them apart (don't take me to a theatre, I'll start tearing into the philosophies and symbols and share them with anyone that'll listen. I also do the same with american cartoons, and Japanese anime.I
